One of My Favorites

      Kina Grannis: one of the best YouTube musicians out there.  Well, actually, I wouldn't consider her a YouTube musician anymore. She's a full-fledged star these days, but YouTube is where it all started.  Kina started singing and playing guitar on the site in 2007 with this original song:

      Kina became one of the lucky ones when "Message From Your Heart" won the Doritos' Crash the Super Bowl contest in 2007.  The video was played during the Super Bowl with 97 million viewers, and Kina landed a record deal with Interscope Records.  These days, you can surf her YouTube channel and find professional videos like this:

      Kina has four CDs and is currently on tour in the U.S. and Canada.  Check her out!

      TubeTunes is a place for anyone to come check out some great musicians of all ages that have been brave enough to put themselves out there on the one and only YouTube.com.
      I was inspired to create this blog by my own ambitions.  I love to sing and play guitar, and I recently started playing covers of songs on YouTube.  I fell in love with it, and I loved the support I got from my friends and family even more.
      I've gotten so much inspiration from other musicians on YouTube, so I'm going to return the favor and showcase them here!
